The stator holding ring is designed and manufactured for holding large frames. The base of the ring can be rotated on a table which is provided with a lifting device so that even the heaviest frames can be rotated above their own axis. The ring which can be rotated through 360 deg. Is mounted in ball bearings and can be held in desired position with the help of two/four clamps. This helps a single operator to manipulate the stator in their frames. It may be noted that large sized frames are required to be held in required position for inserting and tying down preformed coils.
